Benefit planned for Garza family

Jenny and Jeremiah Garza are recovering well from their tragic September 7 crash. Jenny would like to thank the community for all their love and support.

Though this is a very difficult time for Jenny, she is grateful for every prayer and every contribution that has gone to her family.

Jeremiah is recovering well, he has quite a bit of body movement. Although he is still in serious condition, the doctors feel hopeful for a full recovery.

The Florida Community Bank team in Immokalee continues to ask for your prayers as we are confident that your prayers are comforting the family at this time.

The community has gathered in a big way to support Jenny and Jeremiah in a plate sale that will take place at Florida Community Bank on Friday, October 2, 2015 at 12:00 p.m.

This plate sale will include: Boston Butt, rice, baked beans and a dinner roll for $10. Our goal is to sell 3,000 plates and every single dollar will go to benefit Jenny and Jeremiah’s future.

Please join us in helping to make this a success. We look forward to your early orders that can be placed by calling Olga Cisneros at 239-206-0102.

Please note, there were several discrepancies in last week’s story about the tragic accident which took the lives of father and daughter, Alex and Alexis Garza, and left the mother and son, Jenny and Jeremiah, with critical injuries. In addition to the upcoming plate sale, you may help the family financially by contributing to the Jenny Garza account at Florida Community Bank or go on line at http://www.gofundme.com/qe3pwgzk

Sincere apologies to Lillie Bell Rodriguez. Her last name was incorrect in last week’s story about her cousin’s tragic auto accident.
