Eight arrested in drug roundup in Immokalee

Law enforcement officials arrested eight local residents over the weekend who are suspected of committing various drug-related crimes. Public records show that the following individuals were arrested in the roundup:

Willie Frank Butler of Immokalee was charged with marijuana possession and possession with intent to sell. Public records show that Butler has been previously arrested for violation of a restraining order in 2014 and 2015 as well as a domestic violence battery arrest in 2013 and a marijuana possession charge in 2011.

Latoria Shanese Bell of Immokalee was charged with cocaine possession and possession with intent to sell. Records show that Bell has prior arrests for cocaine possession in 2015 and a petit theft charge in 2010. Additionally, Bell was arrested in 2013 for an out-of-county warrant for violation of state probation related to credit card fraud. Bell was also arrested in 2007 for failing to appear on a charge of operating a motor vehicle without a license.

Morris Eugene Burgess of Immokalee was charged with cocaine possession and possession with intent to sell. Burgess has prior arrests for obstruction of an officer, resisting arrest, narcotic paraphernalia, trespassing, domestic violence battery, cocaine possession, marijuana possession, disorderly conduct, criminal mischief, providing false information to a law enforcement officer, possession of an open container, loitering, unpaid child support, failing to appear on battery charges, and petit theft.

Betty Jean Williams of Immokalee was charged with cocaine possession and possession with intent to sell. Williams has prior arrests for violation of county probation related to driving on a suspended license, obstruction of an officer, resisting arrest, and possession of narcotic equipment.

Nathaniel Tims of Immokalee was charged with cocaine possession, possession with intent to sell, and possession of narcotic equipment/paraphernalia. Tims has prior arrests for grand theft auto, grand theft, driving on a suspended license, resisting arrest, cocaine possession, possession of narcotic paraphernalia, obstruction of an officer, grand theft and for a parole violation.

Damon Ranard Johnson of Immokalee was charged with cocaine possession and possession with intent to sell. Johnson has prior arrests for heroin possession, cocaine possession, marijuana possession, intent to sell cocaine, possession of narcotic equipment, and on a warrant out of Desoto County for failing to appear on a suspended license charge.

Bernard Contae Jennings of Immokalee was charged with cocaine possession and possession of narcotic equipment/paraphernalia. Jennings has prior arrests for violation of state probation related to the sale and/or manufacturing of marijuana, for a warrant out of Lee County for driving on a suspended license, robbery with a firearm, grand theft, possession of marijuana, possession of cocaine, and possession of cocaine within 1,000 feet of a church.

Amolisha Coleman of Immokalee was charged with cocaine possession, possession with intent to sell, heroin possession, and possession of amphetamines. Coleman has prior arrests for marijuana possession, possession of narcotic equipment, violation of state probation related to intent to sell cocaine, cocaine possession, and for a warrant due to her failure to appear on a controlled substance charge.
