Man threatens to shoot up casino

Leland Thomas is accused of making threats to shoot up the Immokalee Seminole Casino with a machine gun and blow up a police car.

Seminole Police arrested Leland Thomas on Monday, Aug. 27, at the casino. Police said Thomas had already been banned for his lifetime from the casino. He is also accused of trespassing there on Monday.

Police said he told an officer he was going to put a bomb under their patrol car and then unload on the casino with a machine gun, as soon as he gets released from jail.

Thomas has been booked into the Collier County Jail 26 times. At press time, he was still in jail on a $17,500 bond.
