Suspects rob Immokalee post office at gunpoint

Deputies with the Collier County Sheriff’s Office and crime scene detectives are looking for four men who they said robbed several US post office employees at gunpoint at the Immokalee Post Office on Wednesday morning.

No one was hurt during the robbery.

The Collier County Sheriff’s Office said the men entered through the back door of the buidling an were wearing dark clothing and bandanas over their faces. They stole an undisclosed amount of cash.

Deputies said they had not made any arrests and are working to identify the suspects.

Detectives closed the branch while the investigation was taking place but have since reopened it.
