Students First – Count down to last day of school

It’s hard to believe that we are less than two months away from the last day of school. As we begin to count down these final days before summer, we start to reflect on the tremendous efforts of our Immokalee teachers and staff. While many live right here in the area, others travel miles each day to and from work because they love the community and they love their students. We wanted all our staff to know just how much we appreciate what they do and how much they give of themselves, so we decided to have a #CCPSFamily Day at Pepper Ranch Preserve!

Pepper Ranch welcomed our #CCPSFamily on Saturday, March 30, for a day of togetherness. Friends and family were able to come along and enjoy all the activities that Pepper Ranch offers, such as hiking, biking, and scenic trails. Lunch was provided for the group and representatives from the Benison Center were on hand with donations to show our staff just how much they are valued.

We would be remiss not to take a moment to recognize and thank the Benison Center (Frank Rincon) and World Vision for their partnership this year. The donations they have made to our staff are changing the culture within our school walls and have a true impact on the community. Words cannot begin to express the value of their actions.

And in other fun news… before the school year comes to a close, we’re rounding up our soon-to-be kindergartners! If you have a student who will be entering kindergarten next year and you would like to familiarize yourself with the school and what to expect, you’ll want to attend the school’s Kindergarten Round-Up event. Please see dates and times below. We look forward to welcoming you to our #CCPSFamily!
