Students First – Welcome back students from winter break

We were excited to welcome back our students this week and hope everyone enjoyed the winter break! Now that school is back in session, we’re ramping up for some exciting events.

Registration for our annual STEAM Expo is now open! The event – focused on Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math – will be held Saturday, February 1, at Golden Gate High School (2925 Titan Way, Naples). We’re excited to report that Kate the Chemist is coming back to Collier County for another LIVE science spectacular to kick off the STEAM Expo! Dr. Kate Biberdorf’s special presentation this year is set to surpass last year’s explosive show.

The STEAM Village continues to grow and be the focus of the STEAM Expo! As we continue to integrate more of the arts, we will be adding an Artist Workshop area where participants will be able to create art in a group setting. Along with the many interactive, hands-on STEAM activities available, high school academies and the middle school entrepreneurship program will continue to be featured. Another event of interest includes our upcoming symposium on Preparing Students to Be Life Ready. All schools will be streaming this symposium on January 29th at 5:30 p.m. You may visit the school nearest to you or join us live at the Administrative Center (5775 Osceola Trail, Naples).
