Soccer Pit Cobras Recreational Season Ends

What an amazing season this was for over 100 boys and girls ages 4-12. The season came to an end this past Sunday as four of our travel teams played in the SWFL County Cup at the Bayshore Soccer Complex in North Ft Myers. I was amazed on the number of parents, family members and friends that travel to cheer for our teams. Representing our town were the two U10 boys’ teams, the U12 boys, and the U12 girls. Coach Osvaldo and Coach Mario’s U12 boys reached the semifinals and lost 3-2 with two minutes left in the second overtime period. What an exciting game. We have seen so much improvement since we started in August that we cannot wait until next year. Many of our parents are already asking when will the next season begin.

Our Little Cobras program during Friday Night Lights at the Sports Complex came to an end December 22 after their Awards Ceremony. We had excitement every Friday Night with parents lined up along the sidelines cheering for their favorite team. Our little players had a ball as well. We are hoping that many more Immokalee kids come out to register next year.

Thank you, parents, families and community members, for supporting our club and putting your trust in our program and our coaches. Can’t say enough about our coaches after dedicating so many hours of voluntary service to the kids of this incredible community. We will keep you posted of registrations as we approach next season.

From the entire Soccer Pit Cobras coaching staff we want to wish you all Happy and safe Holidays.
